Default so... can we expect a new high end BB from sprint soon?

I guess I missed it but I still haven't any idea when I can get a new BB from sprint. And please don't bring up the style...

I dunno. Your guess is as good as anyones. I hope that those of us that have remained loyal to Sprint, finally get some restitution. It would be nice to have the Torch join the family.

Red face

This is purely speculation on my part but given Sprint's track records and their love of any and all things Curve and Bold, there's a better than average chance the Sedona aka the 'new' Curve -facepalm 3.0-, the Montana aka the Bold touch and the Malibu aka the Curve touch released sometime this year. Personally, the Montana doesn't look like a full touch screen phone. In the pics on CB, it looks like only the top portion is touch screen which IMO makes it basically useless to anyone who has hands that are bigger than a 3 year olds.

The Sedona is basically the exact same phone as the 3G Curve, but with a few minor tweaks.

The Montana doesn't look touch screen to me at all. Perhaps they're calling it a Bold touch because of the trackpad?

The Malibu would be a great phone for Sprint to fawn all over. It's a Curve which is their flagship line but it's also a full touch screen phone. If Sprint got this one and not the Monaco, I'd probably give this one a try.

The speculation part comes in here: If I had to guess, I'd say look for the Sedona and the Montana by the end of June. I'm doubtful that Sprint will ever see the Monaco which is the alleged Storm3. The Malibu will probably be their fall release phone. They're not gonna do anything as far as BB goes after they make their big David Blaine announcement next week. I'm sure the hype of that announcement will cloud over everything as far as BB goes because I have a feeling it'll be a 3D droid and these days, it's all about the droid. (sarcasm)

Sprint's big announcement is Monday. I'm sure they'll unveil their 3D droid and that's about it. I wouldn't be surprised of after the conference if we get some specific release dates on some new phones. We'll see.

I hate the Style, too.

From the CDMA leaks and the time frame that kinda puts down I would guess summer.

Thanks for all the speculation, I do like the bold, but I am ready to upgrade now, and I know they are gonna tell the release dates for the new BB's as soon as I drop 199 down for a bold... So I guess its either wait...... Or go android...... Hmmmm

If you are expecting something similar to the reliability and productivity of your blackberry with Android it wont happen. A great entertainment device but worthless for getting things done quickly.

I'm not to sure if I want to go full touchscreen yet, gotta have those buttons. I am kind of an impatient person and if there is even a split second of lag it drives me nuts. Probably just gonna get the 3g curve for 50 bucks.

That's not even true. Not even close! I have an Epic, EVO, Bold and Style. I actually do more and just as quickly and efficently on my androids and I do my blackberries. I don't know where you got this information but it's not even right.

I really like the evo 4g with a massive aftermarket battery, but again, don't know if I can take the "touchscreen no buttons" plunge. Then again if I could get a touchscreen BB with sprint, then I would do it, so maybe I'll try the evo. I feel like evo is so far ahead of the bold,

I don't recommend a touchscreen only phone tbh... I send a lot less emails and texts on my Captivate simply for that reason. Contrary to the hype, swype does not make up for it...

This is personal preference. Just because you don't type as fast on a full touchscreen as you did on a physical keyboard doesn't mean that others are the same. I type just as fast on my EVO, Epic and all other touchscreens I have had as all my physical keyboard phones.

Just a warning... Plenty of people on here end up doing a return cycle because they think they can hack it...

Well I guess its a good thing you can return your upgrade 1 time. I get paid the 11th and I hope I hear some good news on the 7th. Sounds like evo 4g is calling my name.
