Default Signal issues (even with airrave)

For the past two days I have been having a lot of signal problems. If I send a bbm it takes a couples minutes. Sometimes it won't work unless I reboot. Even calls, people say they can't hear me. And I am using an AirRave. Does anyone have some suggestions?

if this is happening while you are using airrave then you need to go to a place with some direct signal strength and and experiment there...

IMO I would think the FIRST thing to blame with an Airrave would be the performance of your internet connection...

How far away from your airave are you when trying to use your phone?

My internet connection is pretty good I have a 30/15 connection.

It does not matter how far I am, sometimes 3 feet as the airrave is on my desk, sometimes 30 feet.

Are you checking to see all the lights are blue?

Also try using the small black antenna that came with it.

When I first received my airrave, without that black antenna, my system light and atenna light would turn red.

All lights are blue, and I have been using the external antenna since jump street.

The Airave has no where near the coverage Sprint claims it does

can you confirm your issue only happens with the airrave, and not when in normal cell coverage?

I have been having this same problem for a week or so also. No airrave on normal cell coverage.

This is getting really bad. I have full 1XEV and I can't send any bbm. I took it to the sprint store and they said the phone is good. They said they did some tests.

Again...

if this only happens when you are using the airrave then its to blame, not your phone... do you have issues with BBM in other places?.. If its just the airrave, is it connected to a router?

if you want to check your phones data connection there are websites to do that... (www.speedtest.net...if i recall correctly)

If you have an Airave, then you shouldn't be getting EV-DO. Airave only puts out 1xRTT.

I have air rave and I do not get evdo it does not work for data just voice calls but I have the same problem. Everything checks out to be good but I stil have problems. After about 10 mins on a phone call it dissconnects and I lose the call everytime on every phone they don't know how to fix it and it sucks

I think it could be just an issue with the BBM if your able to send and receive data through the device and voice call and browser are available, I hate to say it but its gotta be BBM can you remove and reinstall?
