By the time the Nexus 4g comes to Sprint it will be outdated.

Well at least this rumor has some data to back it up. Unlike that lingering Sprint Torch rumor.

Software and hardware are two totally different things. The nexus one's hardware will soon not even be able to handle the software updates and stop getting them.

I just watched the reviews. If the Nexus S is released one Sprint, I may just get it. I've been holding out for the iPhone but that phone is certainly tempting. My 8330 is 2 1/2 years old and occasionally has issues now.

yes true but didnt it say it had a dedicated processor for graphics? that alone unloads alot of strain on the processor so this may very well be a very fast phone.

You'll get your nexus 4g probably around the same time (or after) all the 3d, 4g, dual core phones release...

I always wonder..........will you use a dual core phone to its maximum capabilities?

But anyway...I've gone through a few Android devices and haven't been this happy with a phone since my 8900. Outdated or not a good phone will last you longer than a new one with a slew of problems and stuff you dont need. (9700 was great too but had some issues)

^^ The reality is you can't really right now.

Android 2.2 does not support SMP...

But people buy into specs whether they really mean anything or not (reference megapixel counts on cameras and 20,000:1 contrast ratios on TVs...). They don't have a real understanding of them... Android has created a market of spec-mongers, which isn't exactly benefitial... The result is the asian Android manufacturers (in particular) one-upping each other and cutting their margins down in rapid succession...
