Default Problems with test messaging
Anyone having issues receiving the same text multiple times? Also had several people tell me they are getting my text them 4-5 times. I tried battery pull didnt help....

Most SMS issues are not device related. Usually carriers have an issue on their side, I had to get my carrier to reset my account to stop sending and receiving duplicate messages

Call your carrier's customer service or tech support they should be able to help fix it

happening to me today. I am getting the same text every half hour from one of my contacts. very annoying

This happens to me every once and a while, but it has been happening more than usual the past 2 days. Sprint is obviously having a problem. Its a good thing I keep my phone on silent at night because I got a text at 8pm yesterday... And the same text again at 12am, 5am and 8am... Kinda random. It also happens where the phone will tell me the message failed, but then the recipient will in fact get the message several times... Come on Sprint... Really?!

It might be a spotty issue, because I haven't had that problem at all.

I've been having that same issues with my SMS. I called Sprint and they told me that there was/is a known issue with one of the towers in my area. That was causing a major issue.

I had this same issue and I found a thread sumwhere that gave me good advise that wrkd. Delete all your txts then do a bat pull. If u don't want to lose ur txt then back em up. Hope this was helpful.

Don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but I deleted (most) text messages and did a battery pull and I haven't had the problem since.
