Anyone who does not know what price they will pay for the Curve can check out their upgrade eligibilty here https://manage.sprintpcs.com/special...bateWelcome.do

put in your phone number and billing zip code and if it shows that you're eligible for 150.00 off any device with a new 2 yr agreement then you'll get the phone for the fully discounted price.

Even if you are under an active 2 yr agreement then you can still upgrade by signing another one. The eligibility is based off the last time you purchased a phone not the last time you signed an agreement.

Ok.. So I jumped on the band wagon and called CSR and they confirmed that the Curve will come out tomorrow. But this Rep told me that on top of the $599.99 price they also are offering an instant rebate of $170.00 w/o renewing my contract. Is this true ? Cause to me I know that doesn't make sense.

Default Ordering Curve

I recalled that if you try to order the Curve online, it will process the order longer than you order through Telesales. Online will process for about 7 days compared to 2 to 4 days process.

I'll just order it through telesales, retention or whoever alive on phone.

OK, thanks. Big sigh of relief there.

Even if it doesn't make sense, take it if they offer it.

... that sounded silly. But maybe the $150 is if you sign a new contract even if you're not eligible for the full discount.

Of course I will jumped on that offer..... As far as the $150.00 he said that it would be an additonal discount if I did renew my contract on top of the $170.00... We will see if I get another rep tomorrow that says the same thing.

Default 5/9??

Does anyone know for sure the curve will be coming out tomorrow? I had a chat with CS last night that the agent confirmed 5/9 but then I went to the store today and was told JUNE 16!!! Then I had another chat tonight with CS when I was told there is still no release date. This last chat made me type a long email complaint which will likely lead to nothing from Sprint but this is terrible!

ok so here is my experience with retention dept. tonight. I actually called twice tonight (a bit over the top I know but I am sure you all understand my actions hahahaha) and spoke with both a man and a woman who were extremely helpful and friendly (much more than any other call up until this point). At first I was a lil worried because when I mentioned the BB Curve, the gentleman on the phone answere me with "the blackberry what?" lol. He then put me on hold and checked into it. From then on we were making progress haha. Anyway, they both confirmed that the phone would be available tomorrow and that it could be purchased through either telesales or retention but telesales would have more info on the phone.

As far as the colors go, neither one of them was able to give me a definitive answer on that one.

Then again.....................atleast a release date was confirmed by another two Sprint employees.

I wouldnt be surprised if this happens as we begin to order, especially after this mishandling the past couple of months. This can be an apologetic move on Sprints part.
