No new BB in months

How come new updates to the OS for the Bold 9650? Also, as long as I am asking that,what's with Sprint not having any new BB phones for so many months?

Also, the Style is really the newest BlackBerry available. The only other newest one is the 9780, but that's just a refreshed Bold. So I'm really confused in what you're trying to say here.

If you want a new BlackBerry then just wait a little longer, you can check out the BlackBerry roadmaps too that are posted in the blog.

They can't pump out phones every few months! haha (even though we all wish they could)..the bold 9650 only came out last may so I assume the new bold will come out sometime around the end of may or in june.

All the new releases are pretty much on hold until the next gen devices this Spring.

I think a lot of people get used to seeing new Android phones released every couple of months, forgetting that there are plenty of companies making Android handsets while RIM is the only one making BlackBerries. Just as no one expects Apple to release more than one iPhone each year, it seems odd to expect more from RIM. And they're usually putting out at least a few different handsets between the Bold series, Curve series, Style, Torch, etc.

RIM hasn't released many new phones period. They are in a self stated "transition". If anything Sprint got more than most with the Style. Hopefully everyone will get the new phones RIM is going to be releasing in the coming months.

I went to a bestbuy store today to get a new Sprint blackberry bold 9650 and they said they weren't getting these phones anymore. The guy checked all the local BB's and the too were all out.

Wonder if this means a new Bold refresh is coming?
