Hey everyone i just got my 8330 Curve 2 months ago and i was just wondering if i could call Sprint and asked them i wanna switch to Nextel and use the 8350i because i am basically in a business that does Direct Connect but i have to buy my own phone which kinda sucks. So do yall thing Sprint will let me trade my 8330 in for a 8350i? or if anyone is willing to trade i will do that too but some answers will be awesome

If you are considering it because of the DC then it's a good idea but if not then I would suggest you stay with Sprint. The Nextel 8350i was a great dissapointment for me. I had to upgrade it so many times before the texting finally worked. I am anxiously awaiting the new tour so I can switch back to Sprint. I was upset that I believed the hype about the 8350i and didn't bail out when I had the chance.

You will be able to switch but since your not in your first 30 days you'll have to pay full price for the phone. I would sell the 8330 on craigslist once your sure you'll be happy with the 8350i

Yeah I contacted them today they said I would have to pay full price. I mean I posted a ad saying I would like tpo swap my 8330 for a 8350i but I just hope someone is reliable I just don't want to pay full price cause that is a lot of money for a phone.

I would'nt pay full price you can look on ebay and order a new phone that hasn't been activated since it uses a sim card you shouldn't have any problems then when you do activate it you'll just have to pay maybe $20 for the sim card instead of $500 or whatever the phone cost.

That's what I did and Nextel allowed my to place the insurance on it because it wasn't activated already. I was using it on Boost Mobile before I switched over because I missed the BB BIS. They sell for about $200 - $250 online.
