Newbie with a question
I've been reading these forums for a while now, but am just starting to join in. My question is in regards to what the community might think about when to upgrade.
I currently use a curve 8330, and have had it for close to two years. My plan is up for renewal in about a month and a half and I'm looking to upgrade. My question is, what sorts of things might I be missing on the phones in the roadmap feature posted a little while ago that would make me want to wait?
To clear things up a little: I'm not a huge fan of the touchscreen, I know that makes me the odd one out in a lot of markets, but personally, I can take it or leave it. Most of what I do is text related or web browsing, so I don't need a huge screen. Actually the curve works pretty well for me, but I will be getting a playbook upon release and my current curve isn't on 5.0, so I hope to get a new device to use with the playbook.
So what might I be missing that would convince me to hold out for a new device, or might it be best to just upgrade now? If the torch on Sprint never materializes, I'm not sure there's anything in the roadmap that really gets me excited.
