I have to have an international capable Blackberry for my job, and Sprint's international Blackberry selection is one phone, and since December I have to pay $40 more per month to keep the International Blackberry plan active. I used to be able to turn it on and off when I needed to, but now if I turn it off it will be gone for good and I would have to pay international roaming rates for data. If I were to upgrade all 4 Blackberry devices on my plan when eligible this summer that would be an additional $40 in fees. That would bring the bill up to $280. T-Mobile will be $200, and even AT&T would be less at $260 for same plan, and both have a broader selection of Blackberry devices that will work internationally. I don't need or want an iPhone, an Android, or a WiMax capable Blackberry, just a Blackberry Worldphone and decent world roaming plan options.
