Exclamation Need Help with Samsung Epic & Sprint Service

So, the other day i had my epic in my back pocket and sat on it :/ Glass is cracked and lcd is broken too. I bought the replacement piece off of ebay and I should have no problem replacing it. My main question is, Are there tamper stickers on the epic? What about water damage stickers? I basically want to make the phone look as if it was a defective phone, so if something goes wrong, i can turn it in on the warranty. I do not have insurance, although i will definitely reconsider next time i buy a phone. Thanks in advance

All smartphones have tamper + water damage stickers.

Right, I have found a water damage sticker on the battery, and a white sticker with blue x's on the inside. Im assuming the white with blue x's is another water damage sticker, right? I just cant find any tamper proof stickers or anything :/

Looks like there aren't any tamper stickers on it.

If they can tell you opened it though, you're still screwed... You have to remove the large sticker on the inside and dissassemble/reassemble the whole thing without them being able to tell.

I guess the large sticker is their ghetto tamper sticker.

Luckily the sticker goes back down pretty easy. I can see myself getting screwed over even if it were actually defective. It's worth a try i guess, at this point i have nothing to lose. In your opinion, how do you think it will go? lol

Doesn't look like the most difficult disassembly, but there's a lot more steps than a lot of other phones...

Ive disassembled and reassembled it many times over the past few days, that part has gotten easy. I just hope they take it back after i get the new screen in. The new screen might even completely fix it, but i doubt it. I dont think the phone is getting a charge anymore. So my goal is to go to sprint with my rebuilt phone and tell them my phone won't charge. They SHOULDNT notice that ive pot a new screen in, but there is always a chance

Yeah, also if they happen to detect physical damage somewhere else in the phone which you didn't replace, that could cause the same issue.

Yeah, there are only a few very minor scratches. I can just say i had my keys in the same pocket. It will definitely take a little bit of luck, thanks for your help and opinions!
