Default How is Sprint Service (Voice / Data) in San Francisco Bay Area

I am considering switching to Sprint from AT&T so that I can get the latest Bold (i.e., 9930). The upside benefit for the switch is that the plans at Sprint are not as expensive.

I don't know anyone that uses Sprint so I am bring this question to the forum: how is the service (voice / data) in San Francisco Bay Area? For my work, I travel quite a bit in the area so I need voice and data to work.

I go as far north as Calistoga. In the south it is Santa Cruz/Morgan Hill. Toward the east it would Livermore/Pittsburg. And there is San Francisco on the west. How are the service (voice/data) at these points and everything in-between?

Thank you for your response.

I live in Santa Cruz and work from the South Bay down to the Monterey Peninsula. I switched from AT&T to Sprint when I bought the 9650. Coverage is about the same with Sprint, but the big plus is I used to get dropped calls, bad connections, ect, with AT&T even with 5 bars! The only time I get dropped calls from Sprint is with a weak connection. Needless to say, I'm happy with the switch. Sprint uses Verizon for roaming, which goes on your minutes, so it could be an added impact on your bill to think about, I use the BB a lot, but have never gone over my minutes.

As I understand it, The Any Mobile, Anytime calls are not free when roaming, and is applied to your minutes.
