Default how many replacements is enough?

I'm just wondering how many replacement phones is enough?? I've had several different BBs this year due to various software and hardware issues. At what point can I state to my carrier that I'm fed up, not pleased with the device, and request a different replacement device?

TIA

Good question, I've been fortunate enough through the years to have phones that work. IMO, after the third try with the same phone the carriers should give the customer that option......IMO

Have you contacted RIM? I have heard that if RIM gets involved with something they usually do a pretty good job of keeping their customers happy. You may want to try contacting them via email or phone.

With Sprint if your phone is exchange 3 or more times within a 6 month period they may be able to switch you to a like device.....so if you thinking of going from a bb to a 4G not gonna happen or a bb to and iPhone once again aint happening they can offer you any 3G phone similar to the blackberry.

Yea, some stores will give you an option. Try to go to a corporate location though. Make sure your super nice to the reps and they'll hook you up. Anyone that comes in with any negative mood, they are most likely not going to get quality assistance. Remember these people get complained at, yelled at, and insulted all day. Also remember they are there to fix your device, not replace it. Sprint has repair centers for a reason, to fix issues with software and hardware.

Also I dunno what the you do to your poor phones. Every phone i've had since 2000 never had anything outside of minor issues. Random restarts occasionally, poor service in areas, freezing or locking up, all normal with any phone or provider.

couldn't have said it better myself. why do people not understand that. repair centers are there to repair devices not exchange. typically with a blackberry that is having all kinds of issues it is more than likely wet which is causing the problems. so beware of that answer and remember you catch more flies with honey than vinager
