Sometimes when your service provider does a transfer from phone to phone, the contacts will appear all jumbled, with the names and numbers appearing in different categories as they were before. Sometimes you can bring the device back and they can correct this for you. If not, do you have a backup of your contact info? You can always upload it to your DM, and then add the info to your Curve.

Same think here. I've tried contact from three different phones i870, 880, and 365 all of them drop the DC #.

the nextel store told me it was cause they dont have the right transfer software to transfer the DC contact info from a nextel phone to the new 8350i, but im wondering if this is true or retarded.

Default i870 to 8350i contacts

Having just gotten the 8350i and just joined, I'm hoping I can find out HOW to transfer contacts to the Blackberry. I see DC#'s aren't transferring, but how did anyone get the other contact info transferred. I have one of those small Nextel sim card copiers. Will that work or do "they" have to do it? Thanks everyone!

All my DC numbers transfered fine...the only problem I had was the it truncated some of the names in my list. For the people whose last names I had in, it removed the last few letters from the contact. Not a huge deal....better than putting in all the DC numbers. If I could just get my replacement phone in I would be happy!!!!

all of mine transfered fine. but i went from a 7100i to the 8350i. The only problem i had was that most of my contacts were saved to the berry and not the sim card. :twitch: so i had to save all my info to the sim card, then do the transfer. my nextel rep gave me one of those sim swapers for free. works very well, i did it my self.

Why would RIM make a new BB on the IDEN Network?? They should have made the new curve with DC on the SPRINT CDMA network. Way to screw that up SPRINT
