Default Gotta watch the pricing

Is it my imagination or did Sprint raise the price of the 8830? I could have sworn it was 179.99 after rebates. I have been, along with numerous others, patiently (?) waiting for Sprint to drop the 8330 in stores and I may not want to wait any longer. I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of a 8130 in the hand versus waiting for a 8330 eventually. I thought a 8830 would work as an alternative, but I am not so sure it is "worth" twice the price of a Pearl. I am so over working with my Treo after 2 years and want to move up to better things. Does any of this make any sense?

the pearl is a good phone too. i have a 8830 on sprint, and the only main differences are the keys and the smaller screen. i would get the pearl... then the 8330 when it comes out :-)
i used to have a treo 650 on a different network, and the bb is so much better than the treo :-)

I don't think there's been anything official, save that photo of the 8330 ad in the big Curve thread, that says the price has changed. Their original press release does specifically state $179.99 after the instant and mail-in rebates, if you sign up for a 2-year commitment. I don't think anything other than that has been thrown up in the air.
