Cross Connecting Phone Calls

This has happened about 4x to myself and 3-4x each for my friends who are on Sprint.

I have a Samsung Epic 4g, my buddy a HTC Evo and his wife a BB 83xx (whatever sprint uses).

Basically it shows up as a number in your contacts calling (they are actually calling you) but then the line is dead and if you stay on the line its connected me to another person. I havent had the chance to ask that person if they are on sprint/etc.

First noticed this 3-6-11 and it just happened 2x today.

Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix.

This is in the Rockford, IL Area (about 90mi west of Chicago)

Got ahold of sprint tech support and they said the brain was dead in the local tower and that they were going to replace it within the next 72 hours.

Hey I had the same thing happen to me and my brother in law expect he has boost. My caller I'd said it was my husband calling when I pick up ot was a man with a strong accent asking if I needed help with my computer. I called sprint and they said probably someone was playing a joke on me. I live in northern va
