Buying a boost black berry but staying in the $50 plan.. possible?

can i buy a black berry from boost and keep it in the $50 plan? im down to $45 dont want to spend 60.. i have a nextel boostberry but im tired of flashing it over n over..

Why not just go to Virgin? It's cheaper and is owned by Sprint too?

Boost has better plans than Virgin, from what I've seen.

Also Boost decreases your bill over time if you stay with them. Dunno if Virgin does that.

If you already have a Blackberry plan with Boost your bill should not go up. You just have to port your number to the new device.

You must have the BB plan with a Boost BB. Your Shrinkage should carry over since it's account-based, not device-based...if it doesn't...call them and complain, lots, until they fix it.

So you'd be paying $55/mo till your next Shrinkage plan change to $50

Can anyone confirm that shrinkage carries over?
I am on IDEN and considering a switch to CDMA.

No. The "official" Boost Blackberries are CDMA and will put you on the $60 plan. The 8350i (or other older device) hack is the only way I know of to get a Boostberry on the $50 plan. Why do you have to keep flashing it over n over? I flashed mine once, and it's been good to go ever since. As far as shrinkage goes, I don't know.
