Buying 9930 questions

I have a one year $75 upgrade available that I plan on using to get the 9930. Will they let me charge the remaining amount of the phone to my account instead of paying right then? I'm a premier silver customer in good standing. Anyone know? Thanks

im in ur same position...i asked Sprint...they said No. Only time is when you are gonna renew via a full upgrade (2 years)

OK CORRECTION....just got back from my local and favorite Sprint store...i found this out...the girl even checked my account...full price looks like $499.00 plus my tax is $533.93. Im using the $75 credit upgrade and getting $30 for an old (clean) esn red curve 8530 so thats $428.93. My account is in good standing...im premier customer...and i always bill my upgrades to my account...she said sunday i can bill difference to my account...fyi...i sold my bold 9650 for $150 cash so that takes me down to $278.93...not bad right??? and yes bold touch 9930 will be available for sale and stock sunday aug 21...i already scheduled an appt to be there at 11 =]

Thanks, Yeah I also have a couple berrys I plan to use the buy back on. Should be about 150$ of credits plus the 75$ off for my new contract. CAN'T WAIT!

I hate to be the bearer of bad... rumors... but I just called Sprint's customer service to see if I was close to 10 years (and Premier Gold level) and while I was at it, I asked when the Bold 9930 would be coming out. The lady told me "end of September". I replied that all of the info online was indicating Aug 21 and that the end of Sept would be later than expected. She said "Yes, it was set to come out sooner but it has been pushed back." I asked her why but she didn't know. Damn you Sprint for making me wait forever for anything that is good.

not true. went to my local store yesterday...girl showed me price in their inventory. they had them in stock...and aug 21 is the day...she said come back sunday. keep in mind when you get a rep with a weird accent...they dont know crap! everytime i call sprint...1st thing i ask is.. "are you located in USA right now?" if NO...then i simply hang up and call again...also if you call on weekends or after 6pm..u gonna get reps with weird accents...they dont know crap!

I hear ya, but this one was American, no "weird accent." She sent a follow-up email which directed replies to her manager should I need any further assistance or want to offer feedback on her help. I think she was legit.

well like i said...i went to local store...and many here have mentioned here...they confirmed to me sunday release. had phones in stock...but can only start to sell on sunday. even gave me full price of $499.00 and saw it on their computer with inventory and all. believe it showed 25 in stock.

Who ever you spoke with is just clueless, point blank! Sprint has issued a press release stating that the Bold Touch will be available on the 21st. If you check the forums at Sprint.com the Sprint representatives that monitor the forums have confirmed that the device will be in stock at stores on Sunday. Some people just show up to work and have no clue whats going on within the company and don't make any effort to find out.

You think thats bad! some rude employee at a sprint store told me he doesn't know when its going to release and its not going to be anytime soon. I asked if he was sure about that because I was told the 21st. And he said, there is no release date for the phone.... I was and just walked away

Wrong! I was in my Sprint store last night (sweet talked a guy into holding one for me for Sunday), and he said they've already been trained on the new BB's and they already have them in stock but can't sell them. He actually asked his supervisor if he could just show it to me and got an "absolutely not." So, they're there and they're going on sale Sunday and not a minute sooner.

Good! On Sunday both bold touch and torch going on sale in Sprints Store. On sunday ill be picking up my 9930...I'm glad I don't have to order it online and wait for it
