Default Best place to pickup an upgrade? Anyone waiving activation fees?

It is time to upgrade (iPhone) so now the question is where, if it even makes a difference now.

I usually just do Best Buy, but since the rebate change, I have more options.

Thoughts?

i got two Nexus s and they would not waive the activation fee claiming they are no longer able to do that. On top of that, they claimed it costs them a lot to connect the phone to the tower and hence the activation fee. And the supervisor was rude when I told her that there is no cost for Sprint to activate my phone.
Activation fees are arbitrarily instituted to get more money from the consumer, that's all there is to it.

I'd say use wirefly.com because my activation fees were waived through them.

I had my fees waived when I called CS. I also always ask for a supervisor as well when calling about issues involving my bill or money.

In my opinion the cell phone companies have become very GREEDY. No breaks are being given even to long good standing customers....SAD very SAD
