    Default Sprint Cup Browser Icon

    I noticed a new browser Icon on my curve 8330 that says sprint cup series or something but when I click it it wont download..Anyone else have this or have an idea why sprint would push this thru?

    I got that icon on my home screen last night. Have no idea why...

    It was probably pushed from Sprint, for the NASCAR Sprint Cup application. Its a link to download the program. If you delete the icon it will reappear again when Sprint pushes to your phone again. Its actually a cool program, you can monitor the races and get all the news and updates.

    Yeah but even if you try following the link you get a 404 error?

    I had the same issue. Figured it was Sprint push but got the 404 error trying to install it. Oh well...

    I got that two days ago... So how do you get rid of it? I just ended up hiding it.

    Yeah that's what I did too. Just hid it. Last I checked it was still there.

    All the new phones I set up yesterday or phones after a reset popped up that icon.

    Seems like it took forever for all the web related icons to load
    Of course they didn't tell us anything before hand.
