Sprint 8330 pam problem?
Its my understanding that Sprint has begun to crackdown/block pam usage in the last month. I've got an 8330 that i've used with Blackberry Desktop Manager. Now when I hook it up;
1. it recognizes the blackberry as standard modem
2. I can access the blackberry from the laptop (music, pics, etc.)
3. When I try to connect using the Blackberry, it says Modem Mode Enabled for a few seconds. The message quickly disappears and i get a "Error 678; remote computer did not respond"
I haven't used it as a modem in a month or two. Has anyone else experienced this and if Sprint has changed things, has anyone found a workaround yet beyond the obvious tetherberry or pdanet? Help! thx, Jd - 10-30-2009, 01:05 PM #2
