Roam on UMTS with their Tour abroad with the Sprint International BB Plan

so ive been looking up a couple of countries im visiting next year but looks like ill be getting only GPRS speeds when im in them. So for the Tour users, have you guys been abroad and used data on UMTS? like lets say you go go Europe and you got 3G speeds on your.

Right now I think only Europe and Japan have a decent 2100 UMTS footprint (only frequency that the Tour will support UMTS on). Japan has had 2100 UMTS for a while now, while Europe is still rolling it out. I'm going to Japan in a couple weeks so I'll be able to report on that one soon. Probably won't be going to Europe till Nov/Dec at the earliest.
