Default New here, searching for VOIP for sprint

I understand the deal with Sprint and SKYPE...I think... But I'm wondering if there are any Free Voip programs I can load and will actually work with sprint or am I dreaming?
I have the 1500 minutes plan and although good.. I will probably go over the limit with my job as I call landlines constantly.
Any help would be greatly accepted.

BTW I did do some searches but am not 100% sure where else to look.

I don't think there is one, at least not with Sprint. I saw a couple voip apps, but they all charge, so there's no real point unless you drop the Sprint Plan and just use wifi all the time.
See if you can add a friends/family thing, and get google voice.

It is definitely possible to do VoIP on Sprint, using a SIP client - but it depends on what device you're using. I haven't tried it but TringMe is supposed to be the first true full-duplex capable VoIP program for Blackberry. If you're on Android there's SIPdroid. If you're on WM you'll have to Google as I don't have much experience with Windoze.

What is a SIP client? I was told it's possible to use an older version of "nimbuzz"? that allows VOIP with a SIP? How to get a SIP?

Session Initiation Protocol is just a way of controlling your Voice over IP. Since this is Crackberry and you haven't specified, I'll assume you do have a Blackberry - if I were you I would search out a good copy of Nimbuzz or TringMe and see if you can't get them working for you.
