Word. I've been with Nextel for about 5 years now and out of all the wireless companies I've used, they are by far hands down the best. I've had SunCom, AT&T, Cingular, Alltel and Cricket. I went with Nextel due to their coverage areas. For some reason, my house is in a black hole and Nextel is the only wireless company to service. I haven't had a home phone in years and wasn't about to get one simply bc my phone wouldn't work.
The SEP is great. I don't have to worry about texting, calling or data usages. I can leave Gmail chat up and running all the time and not worry about it. I can yap all I want on the phone and not worry and I can text all I want and know that I'll pay roughly $121 and some change after taxes and handset insurance on my 8350i Curve.
I have also never had a problem with Nextel CSRs. They have always gone above and beyond whatever it takes to make me happy and keep me as a customer. I got a heckuva deal on my Curve when I bought it Wednesday. They cut me a killer deal on top of the rebate that they were offering. Plus if you activate the NavTel or whatever it is on your handset, you get another $25 and the SEP includes unlimited use of that also. - 01-05-2009, 08:49 AM #30

IMO, go for the SEP. Before I had my CB, I had the unlimited incoming call plan. When I got my CB, I kept that plan, added a data plan and a text plan. All in all it was about 90$ and I still had limited talk time. So for the extra 9$ a month, I swapped to the SEP. Best decision I made. If you're going to have a CB, go for the SEP. That way you won't worry about usage.
