how do you adjust the screen brightness on the sprint 8530
it seems kind of dull and just wondering how to make it brighter.

Options>Screen Keyboard is where to find your settings. You can also turn the Automatically Dim Backlight function off and it won't darken as much.

i was in that function and the screen is at a 100%. i think the auto dim backlight is what i have to look at.

Becareful, as this will also use more battery life.
