I was talking to one of my friends on BBM, she has Suncom and I have Sprint.

But we both noticed that when sending messages back and forth the status is not always updated on-point.

For instance when I send her a message I will get a check mark but no D or R, so my assumption is that the message hit the bb server but not her BB, but then she will send a reply to the message within a few seconds with the original message still just showing a check mark.

Also I noticed at time replies will come through, but I never see the indication below that she's typing.



Has anyone else experienced these delays, is this usual with BBM.

Yep this has always happened with my AT&T and Verizon blackberries.
