ok update!! it still doesnt work! lol but I guess someone that works for orb said that Tmobile is blocking the streams on their side somehow. I read that on the orb forum. So I dont know, maybe they are not blocking it for people in Arizona but I guess people in DC are just screwed

Wow. I can't understand why it won't work for you guys I have accessed Orb on a Storm 1, my BB 9700, and a co-worker's Nexus One. It might be how the PC is set up, or maybe it runs into problems with a newer OS (since I'm using XP). I'll have to take a look at my PC's settings when I get home to see if I've missed anything. I can't be the only one to get this working, I'm not that tech savvy. Will post the settings I have on my PC soon.

Struggling here - funny situation where orb works on my 9000 - I can click music or videos and they load straight into media player as they should.

However on my 9700 when I try to load a music file or video I get an error. If it is a small file size I can download to device and then play but not stream direct. BUT if its a large file I.E a video then I get a file to large error

Howdy! I have Orb installed on my home server. I have connectivity, but my Storm 2 doesn't play streaming audio smoothly. It's jerky and small bits of the song are missing. I've tried everything mentioned in settings. I use Verizon for my BB and a cable ISP. Home network via cabled/wireless (WiFi) Linksys router. I'm pulling my hair out!! Does anyone know if streaming content is buffered in a BB? Can it be increased? Or am I reaching too far? Argh!!

the only person that seems to get to work is the op, and even then from the screenshot he posted, video looks choppy. i don't think it is worth it.

Has Anyone had any luck with this issue. I am having the exact same problem. NAS I spoke to T-MO today and they said they don't have a port 554. The Real/3GP port would need to be set to 7070 or 8080, which I have done, but haven't had any luck getting the stream to work. If you can access it on your itouch, and PC, then your firewall settings are fine. I have read in a few places that some devices are only able to stream on 554. I haven't confirmed if that's the case for the 9700 if it is, then that's where the issue is.

Anyone know where to go from here.

I setup an old Dell Dimension 4300 PC last night with Windows 7 Ultimate and Orb. The PC is a 3.2Ghz PIV with 2.5GB of RAM and a Hauppauge WinTV PVR150 tuner. I am running on Road Runner Business Class internet with 15Mb down, 2Mb up. I am able to stream to my Blackberry Curve 8330m, although the screen size is postage stamp size no matter what I try. I might try playing around a little more with it and see if I can get a full screen image. My thought is that my curve is too slow and the EVDO is too pokey to get full screen to work.

This past weekend, I was able to get Orb working on my Bold. However, an hour later I went to show it off to my brother-in-law, it would not work. I have not been able to get it working since.

When it did work, I was using the WAP browser and I think I also got it working in the Internet Browser after checking the "Switch to WAP for streaming media" option. Like I said, it worked for one evening but not anymore. :-(
