Nope! Must be a company that is just in it for the money and could care less about us. And they just came out with an update too. I think I will give them another week to get back to me and if they don't then I will ask for my money back. I really don't like when companies disclose all that their apps can do and then they do not follow through on their promises or get back to you when request support.

I was never able to slide the color bar either. I just downloaded the update and when I went into berry buzz it said that my version of berry buzz was not formated for my storm 95xx v.4.7 go to m.bellshare.com/berrybuzz
When I went there (on my phone) ther are two links one for OS 4.2.1 and higher and the other for OS 4.7 and higher. click on the 4.7 one. Download. Restart. Now the color slider works. Hope that helps.

Helllpp!!!
I bought BerryBuzz...but then my BB Tour trackball died, so I got a replacement through Verizon. Now that I have re-downloaded BerryBuzz and put in the activation code, it tells me its wrong.
What do I do>??

I think this is a great addition to the blackberry.

this feature should come standard, IMO.... as plainly, the phones have the capability. It took me a few days to really figure out how to set it up, but now that I've got it set....and more importantly, fixed the other settings that interfere with it....it's great.

I didn't know how to get into the profiles and edit them, so the repeating tone feature could work. NOW I'm cooking with gas.

EDIT: Heh, I found it.. shoulda looked a little closer (had to go to options> Ring Tones/Alerts > +Other >SMS reminder.. all my volumes were set to silent) *slaps forehead* ... Anyway.. HI YA'LL lol.

Hello, Just recently got a BlackBerry Tour on Sprint, So far I like it a lot. I have had other smartphones but this is my first BlackBerry. I bought BerryBuzz for the repeating audible alerts & LED customization capablity. The LED changes seem to be working fine but I cannot get the audible alerts to work.. in the standard BB notifications area I have changed the LED alert area to "off", but I thought the instructions said to change it too "none"? I'm missing something I think..

Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW, coming from Palm devices which are the same way out of the box... I really don't understand why these MFG's don't include this functionality. But @ $6-7 BerryBuzz is worth it imo.

Thanks,

I have a problem with this application.
I can not make changes to the "BerryBuzzy Settings." When I try to make a change, I can not save this setting.

The normal color options if I can save. But I can not do that with the settings.

Also buy this application for another phone that I have and spend the same problem.

You need to upgrade to berrybuzz .59 (assuming that your current version is
.57 or .58).

I picked this app up this morning and I'm pretty impressed. I love being able to tell exactly what type of messages I have just by giving the LED on my phone a quick glance. Only problem is you have to manually turn off the LED option for all apps in all your profiles before you set up BerryBuzz, or you'll have it flash red for a split second before changing to the colour you specified. It's annoying for sure, and in the end, it's really just a one time thing, but it would've been nice if the app could do this for you automatically (I'm still new to BBs so I'm not sure if apps are allowed to do that).

Other than that, it's a fantastic add-on, albeit a bit pricey. I'm loving it so far though.

I just found this app last night because of the 1/2 price sale (so there goes that issue) and it's fantastic.

I agree that it is a pain to set up, and that oh well, it's only a one-time thing.

I don't know if those who had problems with it tried the latest version but it works like a dream, and does let you customize for BBM. There's a free trial for those still eligible, if they want to try, but it will require that one-time lengthy set-up (and reversal if you don't like it) to make it work correctly.

Really, really cool to be able to have different colors, color combos, the disco flashes (wow!), at different lengths, initial rates, reminder rates, etc. for every single contact, email address, and several apps. A bit tricky to learn and set-up but well worth it, and a bargain for the $2.50 or so today, and worth it (for me) at the regular price.

Unhappy

I think I spoke too soon.

I realize now that, because one needs to turn off all the LEDs from all one's profiles, if one wants to disable the app (to avoid disco lights in a business meeting, during a movie, or for any reason) then one can't easily revert to having a regular LED with all the profiles that had them. Worse yet, the "All Alerts Off" AND any new profile made now has LEDs whether I want them or not, even when the app is disabled. This is a real problem. I had my profiles set up for different situations and now the app has taken control of the LED, whether or not the app is enabled.

I hope their customer support is good these days. I wrote to them, trying to explain my concerns, but as I kept discovering new aspects of it, I wasn't very concise and wound up sending more than one ticket (and generally sounding dumb, and anxious, though not mean, but I am embarrassed.) Anyway I hope they have a fix. When I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (and yes I did battery pulls) I realized how mixed up my profiles got so it isn't about the $2.50 (much), it's the time (and proverbial hair) lost. It was not a good night.

I do have a recent complete backup but today was 3rd party app day for me (I finally got QuickLaunch -- now that one IS a winner!!!) and I really don't wanna do everything over.

If anyone out there can help me, I'll be oh so grateful. In any case, I figured I should share my experience. I guess I was mesmerized by those pretty disco lights.
