Socialscope data usage

Is it me or does socialscope use up ALOT of data?

I usually go through less then 100MB of data a month but this month, after installing social scope, my usage has tripled to over 350MB.

I'm not using the phone any different when I didn't have socialscope and I only have 3 RSS feeds and Facebook set to update in 30min intervals.

My plan only includes 500MB.

nope, I use socialscope for 2 twitter accounts, facebook and foursquare
i use around 223mb a month.
it could be other apps. or if you are viewing a lot of facebook photos.

I cant see it being SocialScope, but maybe your USE of the app.
and just change it to refresh on open or manually.

30 minutes will murder your battery and use unwanted data.

Never noticed, I have Rogers 6GB plan so I hardly ever bother to pay attention to my data usage other then to know I use arnd 3GB/mnth and that includes my tethering usage. But that said; I can't see it being SocialScope unless you have it set to check for updates really frequently.

It jumped 25MB overnight. I don't have any other apps running.

Hmmmm...I removed facebook and redflag deals from socialscope and turn off 30min intervals, will see what happens.
