too humid, my bro lives in Fl. I just don't like humidity and a place that is so hurricane/tornado prone. I live in the northeast, but planning to move to scottsdale, az when i grad xray school. Dry heat, no rain, and desert is my paradise. i visit AZ a few times a year up until school got in the way.

I agree with the humidity! I have straight as a board hair but when I go to Florida it magically curls.

Arizona is nice. One of my best friends from nursing school just moved to Sedona. The desert is great! I just moved to Los Angeles from Palm Springs (desert).
