I have an 8830, and I love it, but I say wait for the Curve! I'd say it's much more of a social BB than the 8830...I've heard only good things about the Pearl, too, but the Curve has the full QWERTY keyboard, if that's important to you.

hmm now you all have me waiting! I hate waiting, maybe ill get a pearl to hold me over.. Other thing $30 a month just for a blackberry, for social needs seems like a lot. Im assuming once I have it I'll love it right? I'm sure all you crackberryheads will convince me that it is fully worth it!!

I had the pearl, now the Curve. They are both G8.
The pearl is small so if you like that it's better. I gave my husband my pearl and he loves it, but wishes he had a Curve only for the size.

$30/mo is a small price to pay for all that BB's are capable of. Definitely worth it. IMO

I would go for the pearl, for a soical user. Although the camera is not "needed" sometimes it is just good to have. I have lots of fun PINing pics to people.

I would totally go with the pearl, its sleek and small and the suretype is quick to learn. Plus the pearl has video, gps and a 2 megapixel cam

Wink

I am not knocking any Blackberry, I personaly do not like a Blackberry that I have to double tap...(2 letters on 1 key). I like the qwerty keyboard alot better. I have had the 7280, and 7290 (AT&T). Then I got the 8700c, got rid of it...(I'm a moron, what can I say). Then I got the 8800, stopped using it and have been using the 8925 Tilt. I found this forum and well, my dwindiling fire was reignitied again. I fell in love all over again with the Blackberry. I don't know why I ever left. I really want the curve... I like the design and th size, but, have the 8800 now. I am going to enjoy it for a long while yet. I really hope you get a Blackberry and join this family of users here. Just look at why you want the Blackberry. Then decide what you want on it... the rest is easy. Just purchase it. GPS; Camera; Wi-fi; all these cool added features you can get right here at crackberry. Look into your heart, decide which one is you... Good luck Berry picking...

The Pearl and the Curve are both good choices. You can't go wrong with either one.
