Default Read First: Community Smartphone Reviews

Hey CrackBerry Nation,

Welcome to our Community Smartphone Reviews forum.

With so many BlackBerry smartphones coming out, it's tough for us to cover EVERYTHING on the blogs these days. Plus we know you all have different opinions that are valuable to the BlackBerry Community!

With that said, the goal of our new Smartphone Reviews section is to provide a structured way for members of CrackBerry.com to share their observations and experience with other members and for us to reward the excellent efforts put forth by members!

Smartphone Reviews Concept:

1. Post your BlackBerry smartphone review, unboxing, hands-on in this section. Non-BlackBerry smartphones are welcome too!
2. I'm going to be watching all of the reviews and am going to pick the best reviews out on a regular basis and promote them to the homepage of CrackBerry.com!!
3. If you are the author of one of the articles that gets promoted to the CrackBerry blogs, we're going to award you with your choice of either a $20 coupon to the CrackBerry.com Accesory Store or CrackBerry App Store!!

Please note, only new threads created in these forums will be Review threads. Members can of course post questions on the reviews within the same thread, but no new threads will be permitted in this area of the site that are not reviews. If you have questions or issues, please use the standard device, accessory and software forums.

Suggested Review Format

1. Introduction - introduce yourself, how you ended up with the smartphone you are reviewing.
2. Initial Impressions, Set-up, etc.
3. Harware, Form Factor Impressions.
4. Software, Usage Impressions
5. Longer Term Observations
6. Conclusions
7. Pros / Cons

Be sure to include lots of images and screen captures as you see fit!

We hope you enjoy the Smartphone Reviews section of CrackBerry.com!!

Awesome idea Kev! I've been using the 7100i and eagerly waiting for the 8350i comes out, so when it does i'll do the full review and hope to make it on the blogs! After using the 7100i for 2 yrs, i'm sure i'll be just like a "fat kid with cake!!"

has any body seen this wana-be blackberry (as i call it)
it only gets email
Peek - Simply email.
Switched On: The Peek of popularity - Engadget and the diff. colors it comes in
this lil evice can only recieve email but if your in a crunch with money it may help some ppl
100$ for the "peek" an 20$ a month get a simple cell phone with a low monthly plan and the "peek" i guess your good to go
or even for ppl that think they cant handle a blackberry yet (lollol)

Question Need advice on BB purchase for Hubby

I myself have a WE BB..had for about a year...I would love to get my hubby the new storm..but our carrier doesn't have that yet (Alltel) our options are to get him the pearl, WE or curve...leaning more toward the WE or curve...the pearl is a little to small...does anybody have any recommendations? How about buying an unlocked Storm...how does that work?

I noticed that there wasn't a review for the BB Pearl 8130 here. I'm going to be getting mine soon so I'll try to write up a review with some pictures of the unboxing for everyone.
