There are 2 things I despise on any website, pop ups up of any sort and music or any video already started when I get to it. Both are a sure fire way for me to never go back there.

Agreed on the already started music and videos too. If I want to play music or videos, I'll choose to play it, but I won't go back to sites that just play it on their own.

Sorry to bring back a dead topic, but these annoying AJAX popup ads are back. I wouldn't complain if it was only once per day as Kevin posted they should be, but in the past 10 minutes, I've gotten at least 12. Typically it's either every few page loads, or when I open a link in a new tab.

I am using NoScript as an extension to Firefox, and it works great. You can choose what scripts you allow to run. It is the only way I can enjoy Crackberry. Another benefit is that Crackberry.com loads a lot faster. Give it a shot.
