What do you think of the CB Forum Redesign?

I have never heard of this site before just made a visit it looks like a windows 8 home page or something. In regards to what its forum looks like I am in agreement. Let's hope as little changes as possible here

Pretty awful, it kept crashing my nightly build of firefox. I hate when blogs make it so you can't navigate through articles by just scrolling down, I don't care about categories or top stories, just whats NEW (see: gawker sites [Jalopnik {the only good one} has been reredesigned recently though and is much better and will be pushed to all their other terrible sites])

I think they should change the name to n4A.D.D. because I have never seen so much scrolling, shifting , colour and content everywhere clearly suited for someone with attention deficit disorder.

I've watched our forums a few times someone is messing with it. They're just moving links around to the sub-forums lol

Checked it out earlier today. I like that site, but the redesign is ridiculous. It looks like Willy Wonka vomited on their home page.

I like the site too but I am seriously considering not going there anymore as it's like a bad acid trip. I have no idea what is new or what I have or haven't read as the same content is popping all over the site in different places. Long live Crackberry! Unless they try something similar lol....

I think you guys will love the new site design we'll be unleashing to the internet.

I know what works on CrackBerry. I'm not messing with the secret sauce. But where we have room to clean things up and improve, we're doing that. We're catering to our loyal users, and also making the site more friendly for casual users.

And if you don't have a BB10 phone.. man oh man just wait until you get one and download the CrackBerry 10 App. It's freak'n AMAZING.

I haven't been to it but I do like their site. I feel bad kinda by what you guys are saying but the troof hurts. I don't really know(really that means I don't really remember) any other BlackBerry sites.

I like the layout, but the colors make me think it's a Windows site, not BlackBerry.

It does look like a windows 8 home page. It looks kind of nice to me compared to what they had before, although that was nice too.

I used to use that site until one day I opened it & got this annoying voice out of my speakers for an advertisement, know a site has to make money from advertising but that kind of annoyance is where I draw the line, I tried removing my account & profile but couldn't, tried contacting them through the site but never got a reply so that site is crap in my opinion

Guys,

Why don't we turn a negative in to a positive? Forget about another site's design, lets talk about the CB redesign! What do you think? Looks good huh? And how about the contest pretty cool! No other site is giving away as many Z10s as we are, I'm pretty sure of THAT! Anyways lets keep the focus on CB! And as such I have changed the title!

Site seems to have got noticeably slower. Have to wait for all the ads, then for the site.
Getting so I don't come in so much :-(

Lots of changes to the database, give it time to settle in, things will get faster!

I think the Community section should be moved further down. Most of us are concerned more with the OS and the devices.

I also think there is a lot of wasted space in the layout compared to how it was a before the last change. It requires far too much scrolling. It almost seems as if it has been redesigned for tablet use only. Then again maybe not. On my desktop only the first post in a forum actually shows up above the fold due to all the stuff at the top of the page. Then there is still a whole page full of stuff after the forum. I think when it comes to forums, less is more.
