Is there a way to get a notification if someone replied to you in a thread, like when you get a like or thanks

Look up there in Thread Tools. Subscribe to the Thread, and ask for Instant Notifications.

If you mean when someone quotes you, that's not in there. But you can sign up for instant email/control panel notifications for when someone just replies to the thread

Actually there is, it was just recently added to the settings. I noticed it last night when I was trying to figure out how to make my Twitter handle show in the little sidebar with my info in it.
