Outrageous Shipping Charges
I recently purchased a Seidio belt holster to fit on my 9700, and the Otterbox Commuter Series fits it perfectly. Though I wanted to bring up to those at Crackberry that your shipping costs are way too high. I would have gladly purchased the $29.95 holster through this website, but not after I found out it cost $33.95 to ship it!!!
That is the shipping cost to Ontario, Canada. It was the same cost to buy it directly from Seidio, and they only charged $10.95 for shipping - and they are in the US too. Why would anyone order from Crackberry with that huge cost difference? It makes no sense. Come on Crackberry guys. If you really want to sell items, you gotta lower your prices to at least be in the ballpark with your competition!!

Agreed, the shipping costs are high. However, I will note that that is only because the shipping company designates us Canadians as "international shipping".

Also, even with the shipping cost, it's very difficult to find a retailer in Canada that can come close to the prices. I had to buy 1 battery not too long ago. Just one.
Order from CB, shipping in, about $65.
Purchase locally, $75
Not defending the charge, just pointing out the other side of things, and that it isn't necessarily all CB.

Kevin has said in the past that CB is exploring options to reduce shipping charges for our Canadian customers. Yes Kevin, the founder is a Canadian himself, but CB, and the CB Store are based in the US.

and its the store is not owned or run by CB, its actually Mobihand/Mobireach that runs the store... so its really them thats charging the high cost of shipping... and i'm with you... the shipping rates is what deters me from buying from mobihands stores

re: C_86 - you are incorrect. Mobihand powers the software stores. Smartphone Experts powers the accessory sales/fulfillment. Two separate entities/operations (that do work together to deliver both accessory/app sales in one checkout).
Re: Cheaper Canadian shipping. STAY TUNED. FOR REAL. It's close. It's actually going to be a canadian store (pricing in cdn dollars, inventory will ship from our facility in canada). Might not carry quite the same selection as the full store (will focus on most popular items) but will be awesome. Very excited for the day I can blog this and announce it. Maybe we'll do a ribbon cutting ceremony

Awesome Kevin! That's great to hear about a Canadian distributor and lower shipping costs. This site is awesome and I'd love to support it where I can. Though those higher shipping costs were just a bit too much. I'll look forward to hearing when it's all setup! Thanks!
