I was just wondering cause i have had a long and stressful time looking for information on it. Just got one due to the fact that i can't let go of nextel! been w/ them since 2002 on everyone in my family's plan but now I've got my own and wanna keep em. So I just got the phone 1/3/09. last one in the store. but there is no information on any of the forums I've come across, that have a dedicated section for it. My theory is that there isn't enough people with one but still I have noticed quite a few people with questions. My initial plan was to start making themes for it cause thats what i do with my psp and vista! But once again there arent enough resources or accurate info on this device anywhere. So hopefully come 1/11/09 8350i's will be up and around but it still would be nice to see some of the love for it shared here!

Actually I agree. I think there should be a dedicated forum for the
8350i, and while maybe a bit unreasonable move all the open
threads (or as many as possible) to it.

I would hate to own that phone and have to search through the
    83xx forums for information.

The Javelin, The Bold and the Storm have been segregated,
the 8350i should be also since it is not quite the same as
    any other 83xx device.

yeah it is nerve wrecking since I wanna make themes for it. I actually stood up last night playing with plazmic for hours and got a theme for all other OS curves but not mine! I felt like it was practice and figured I'd just get used to what i have for now and just focus on apps. I upgraded from the 7100i which was very frustrating... Now i can put way better ones on this but am not sure of compatibility issues. Is there a video ringtone app out there?

    btw: Thanks for replying amazinglygraceless!

You're welcome. Not only is the Bold, Storm and Javelin
separate, the 8100 has it's own forum apart from the
8110, 8120, 8130. It just makes sense and personally
I think your point has very much merit.

ya know? Out of all the sites out there, I like this one the best! I hope to come close to your post count here one day! I'm pretty new to this cause the 7100i had really no use for a site like this! C'mon MIDI ringtones? that phone had its job and it did it til the bitter end and even saved me $20 bucks on my new phone! I'll miss the little portable VCR but its about time nextel did this! or Sprint rather! I can't wait to make themes for this thing I've got ideas everywhere!

I also agree the 8350i should have its own section
I do an advanced search for 8350i using the "in title only"
That helps a little. It is also why I always put 8350i in my post titles.

Done and Done. You now have a BlackBerry Curve 8350i forum.

I moved over the threads I could find by doing an advanced search for 8350i in the title.

The moderation team will keep there eyes peeled for more relevant threads to move into there.
