    Accessing through WIndoze / Chrome browser, not on my device - clicking "participated" was giving me an error about some variable being this instead of that, now it just says "connection to 172.30.40.8:9312 failed (errno=110, msg=Connection timed out)"

    Halp!

    Update, problem is restricted to Chrome browser on the Win 7 machine. Forum operates correctly if I bring it up in IE instead...which isn't really a solution; would prefer to not use IE. Hmmmm time to compare Chrome versions or something now, I guess!

    Can't find any problems at the moment, so it seems to be an intermittent issue. I suspect on of the web servers is having trouble connecting to the search server. The next time one of you experience the problem, can you please "view source" on the webpage and report the serverip meta tag: eg. and email me asap: tom AT mobilenations.com

    Thanks!

    Very consistent for me:

    Works fine every time on my Win XP / Chrome desktop
    Fails every time on my Win 7 / Chrome notebook; works if I use IE instead.

    Chrome versions on each system are the same. Puzzling.

    Anyway I really doubt it's a server-side issue; it just looked that way when I first started noticing the error. After a little back-and-forth between these two systems it's clear it's client-side, just can't yet figure out why.

    Thanks for looking into it. I've got a workstation with Win7 on it, so I'll see if I reproduce the problem.

    Just tried Win7 + Chrome combo, and participated threads work for me. Things you can do to help me debug: send me the serverip (see post above), and also send me the request headers when you click on the participated button (in chrome, press F12, click Network Tab, click participated button, for the first request in the list, right click and "Copy request headers"

    Just now - same as my first post on it:
    CRACKBERRY FORUMS MESSAGE
    connection to 172.30.40.8:9312 failed (errno=110, msg=Connection timed out)

    <meta name="serverip" content="160">

    Tried this: clicked network tab, clicked "participated threads" button, scrolled back to the top of the list and I have the search.php entry - if I right click I don't have an option quite like what you're asking for. I've got "Copy link address", "Copy response", "Copy as cURL", "Copy all as HAR", "Save as HAR with content" ...
