Did anybody else catch this? or maybe my eyes are deceiving me?

I was eyeing this passport holster case. Just yesterday, I could swear it was $19.99

Lured with the promise of a banner ad that said "Black Friday Sale, all cases on sale tmrw", I waited until this morning to purchase.

Much to my surprise, I noticed the price shot up to $29.99, but hey, its 25% off today only! which makes it $22.xx.

I understand pricing adjustments and market changes, but the timing of all this just reeks of sleeziness and deception.

Never expected to get taken like this from a site and store I have devoted much time and spent much money in, and am extremely disappointed......

No, I was ready to buy it yesterday. It's 'regular' price was $19.99

But the store banner ad says that 'come back tmrw for our great case sale' in connection with their Black Friday sales promo which is obviously carrying over into The weekend.

Lo and behold. On the 'sale' day, which is today, the price is $29.99 when I really thought I would get it at $19.99 less the promised banner promo 'great sale' discount.

Don't jump to conclusions. A MOD already stated he brought this thread to management's attention. See what their response is before you get so upset.

Seemingly an unfortunate mixup. I would give them the benefit of the doubt and stop short of calling it a scam. A scam would mean there was intent to mislead people. Let's hope that's not the case here.

Fair enough, I would consider it as unethical business practices then.

Not accurate, because the pouch the 'smartphone experts' pouch was 14.99, on the wayback it shows it as $17.99

Also, the BB Z30 Transform hardshell "buy 1 get one free" was $19.99. now its $24.99

I won't pretend to know about the number of devices available. In fact, I don't care enough to enter fake amounts to find out anymore. I did during initial release, but that's getting old to me now. However, I do see what the OP has described regarding that front banner announcement posted on Friday the 28th. It does say to come back the following day for deals on cases... I don't get why they said that just to say "sike"...
