I dont know it is related or not. On normal day, I received less than 5 spams. I wonder whether those in the CB forum creative enough to find my email address. Or is it not protected? The irony is all spams from Canada. Can anybody clarify this. Thx

CrackBerry staff and volunteers are commited to protecting the privacy of all members. I've taken a look, but don't see anything to indicate that your email address is visible (there are settings to allow a member to do so).

I've moved this to the "Site" forum, and will kick it further up the ladder in case I've missed something.

Sounds like your Email has been compromised.
You may want check that your ad blocker and pop-up blockers are set correctly in your browser.
And also, empty the browsers cache and history.

Do a full anti-virus scan on your computer to find the adware and then, after you do all that, Change your Email address.
I keep several email address's.
One specifically for Forums and places like ebay, Amazon, etc.
Two are strictly for business and friends!
It's only as matter of time when on these kind of sites that you'll get snagged.
It has nothing to do with this website in particular and the website really can't control it until they are made aware of it. Then they can block the IP. but, by then, they're long gone.

Security is your best defense.
It's the most important program you have and worth the price.
If you're using a free virus program... you're getting exactly what you're paying for!

I use Norton 360.on my entire network of 5 PC's plus a 3 TB network storage device.... and about 16 devices altogether.

They're still connected through the internet. one way or the other. If you check your email through your laptop or your mobile device they're still connected!
