| |  New Forum Feature - Thanks Button!

Hey All!
OK, so we just installed a new plugin to the forums called the Thanks Button. The premise is pretty simple... if somebody helps you out, give them Thanks! by hitting the the Thanks button.
Pretty simple concept, and it adds another fun dimension to the forums and adds recognition to our most helpful members.
We'll soon add another module to the forums homepage that shows the Top Forums stats. So at a glance you'll see the hottest threads, move viewed threads, top posters and top thanked posters. It'll refresh every 30 minutes (so it'll be a good shot of what's going on right now).
Things should be running smooth. So keep posting, start thanking, and keep it locked to the site for the next set of updates.

A nice addition to the forums but, your avatar shows you holding a phone with a trackball. Are you really still using that  ?

The new quote and edit buttons are okay, but is there any way to opt out of the "Thanks" button stuff? I post on another site that has had this feature for some time now and most all users feel the same, they do not like it and don't want it, but site admin wants it, so it stays, for now...
