I was just coming to comment on this very issue. I don't like how you have to click on each title to see the post. I would much prefer to have a teaser for each post even if it does take longer to load.
Overall I like the site though.

Looks great. As a storm user I'm begging for an updated forum template with bigger links etc for navigation!!!!

Is it just me, or is there a problem with the Blackberry Accessories section of the forums on both the current and new beta mobile sites? I tried earlier to use both sites to access forum questions on the Blackberry Accessories section - there is a link for it, but nothing comes up for it. I've notice on the desktop computer page, there is no forum section for this, so perhaps you changed the online site without making the change in your mobile site??

Route taken: Click Forums > Stuff for your Blackberry Smarthphone > Blackberry Accessories > click that link and i get a big graphic of the CB header with a "Searching Crackberry" smaller header with lots of space. It doesn't come up.

Re: blackberry accessories, 2 problems,

1st, content is there, but there's a big hole. The top banner is there, but you have to scroll down a quarter of the page before any content is visible.

2nd, no matter what I do, it takes me to the full version of the page instead of a mobile optimized one (100+kbs).
I logged out, cleared cookies, tried the beta and regular wap versions, navigated different ways...
It brought me to the full version every time.

Default Overlap and no app store :(

hi all, 2 things iv noticed today,

firstly, on the new homepage, there is an overlap of the `featured post` banner going over the posts below, i think this is due to the length of text in the featured post? see pic attached for what i mean, just to add thats on all my devices

secondly, while its not the m1 page, on the original page (m.crackberry.com), the app client download link doesnt work, it just puts me into the app store on device, not a download page for the app store

Nice update. Column view now works properly and the colour change on the link roll over really helps.

Hey Kevin - There is an error with today's first blog post. The header of the blog post overlaps the page banner.

we actually do have rollovers on those tabs, but they don't seem to really work well on the bb browser so we'll likely scrap those.

Agreed on the comment about more spacing between blog post articles below the featured post. can leave that.

Do you guys like how we just show the top post, but headlines for the posts after that? We could show images/teasers for all 15 posts on the homepage, but want to keep it quick and that would slow things down.

Well, a simple click and the next link up for viewing - which makes a big difference in loading as opposed to the default forum viewing from your device. Looks good

No overlap on this end.

Looks like it's a Portrait view and not Landscape. Try it out in Portrait and let me know.

Edit: you have to load the page originally in Portrait to see it. If you load it in Landscape first and then flip to Portrait, you won't see the formatting issue.

HUGE improvements! Thanks guys! I spend more time on the mobile version these days and this drastically improves the presentation of content and overall ease of use.

Once the new mobile site goes live, will "Open in Browser" links from Viigo for CrackBerry posts redirect to the new mobile site?
