Forum Server Upgrades: Early Morning 11/14/2008

Hey All,

Just a quick note.... the forums are going to go into "maintenance mode tonight" while we yet again add more servers.

We added a bunch recently but we still need more power!

Not sure the exact time that we'll be down, but probably between 12 midnight and 4am EST would be a safe bet.

Between midnight & 4 AM? Isn't that when the hardcore users really get busy? I wonder - what is the busiest time period on the forum? During the workday? So, could we can establish that the cb community is actively involved in nationwide business slowdown. I mean there are thousands checking out this site that thousands not doing their job - something of which I am guilty. And now Kevin is improving it will draw more loyalty and probably more users.

As the forum creator - could we actually place blame on Kevin for decreased productivity and thus econmic problems as employers need to hire more workers to do the jobs that the cb community isn't doing & need to raise their prices to pay for more workers and then cause poor developing countries to not grow their domestic product and thus create political instability and create the breeding ground for dictatorships ans extremists who push the world toward international world war and kill off every human on earth?
