Since the last leak I loaded on my z30, I restored contacts and notes and media from backup and I noticed a problem.

Every day, at a specific hour, I get a notifications to update my info for the accounts. (see photos)

I updated to official 10.3.1 last night and I was hoping this will go away, but it didn't.

Did anyone encounter similar issue? What can I do to fix this annoyance? Deleting accounts and readding them don't work.

back up your phone , do a sec wipe,reinstall everything hopefully will fix it

Well, I kind of think the backup restore generates the issue right now.
I will try tho to backup everything except the accounts and account related stuff.

Still would like a fix that doesn't require wiping the phone.

back up doesn't back up your accts,or you can do custom back up
or you can wipe it and install everything from the scratch you will see the difference

It does backup the accounts, but you must activate them with the passwords after the restore. It doesn't backup just the passwords.

Well, the thing is I tried to go from scratch, but there are so many things I must configure or add back, so it would take me way too much to do this manual.

For me Gmail do the same but I don't update it because I still receive emails

The only thing that worked was a clean restore. After that I didn't restore the backup. I syncs only the contacts with Microsoft contacts that I saved before with BlackBerry Link.

So I started from scratch. Then I manually added the accounts and apps. So I lost the notes and the messages, but at least I got rid of the annoying pass update request.

A non-destructive OS load via Sachesi also seems to resolve the issue.

So do I. From day one. Mine refers to 2 apps I had on my Z10. When I set up my Passport they both transferred over so I deleted one of the apps but I still get the 2 annoying notifications every day.

It is impossible to restore contacts, messages, without the system settings with a regular restore with link.

As I said before, contacts can be synced with windows contacts via link, but messages and chat backups not.

Mine only notifies me to update my password for my computer (RayCurtis-ASUS) and it's always at some random time whether connected or not to the computer. I've never had to enter a password for the computer in the first place. Who knows. Hoping when VZW releases the update by the end of this year or this lifetime maybe it will be fixed.

Same issue here and before upgrade to 3.1
Keeps asking for account passwords that I never entered before.
I just ignore it.
A lot easier than a wipe and reinstalled os.
Everything else works.

I did the ignore thing for a while. It gets annoying after some time for 4 accounts.

The update doesn't fix this, just changes the moment/time of day when you get the notice.

Good for you mate! BlackBerry might just fixed this in the latest updates.

I haven't experienced this issue myself, but I noticed in another thread someone did and even made a tool to help remedy it:

Keep in mind the dev does appear to say use the app with extreme caution, so heed that warning if you do decide to use it. Hope this helps.

I fixed the problem without any external apps. I found a solution on another thread here, I can't seem to find it again. Regardless I confirm that it worked for me perfectly.

Open the update notification in hub, then open the account, hit 3 dot overflow menu, delete and remove account, confirm delete, then immediately minimize and close the window before it finishes. That's it, problem solved.

I had this happening on 3 accounts daily so I tested it one by one and it had to be done in this way to fix the problem. I can't explain it so don't ask.

I'm on an Passport with official 10.3.2, no leaks or autoloaders.

I hope this helps a few people.
