need 10.3.1.
this is old version of BBM, no sticker, no channel, just basic chat.
and need rotation lock, landscape will crash the app.

why use 2 BBM? real one is for private, and sideload one usefull for bussiness which often broadcast for new product and ads.

tested on Z10 10.3.1.2072 and newer.

Running a second profile using the BBM apk has been possible since BlackBerry started android beta testing.

I have tried this on my Z10, getting the latest BBM apk from Google, and it doesn't work. I must be doing something wrong.

Is there a specific set of BB10 OS, native BBM and Android version combinations you are using?

Trying to do a few things:

- use a couple of different devices across channels, BBM chats, PIN messaging, etc...
- have the ability to use different display names and different BBIDs (I am presuming different BBIDs is the only way it's going to be accomplished) across contacts, channels, etc... depending on to whom I want to communicate with and achieving identification separation between say, work and home (never want to mix them up)
- periodically, have the ability to do all it from a single device, when only taking one device (phone for example) on the road or when hanging out as a couch potatoe (a tablet for example) for the night

I understand that can all be achieved with Balance, but we don't have Balance.

That's what I figured, but for that then you'd also need the ability to either switch back and forth between different BBIDs, or use more than one BBID simultaneously, which from what I can tell you can't do (without un-installing then re-installing BBM).

Or at minimum, the ability to (relatively easily) switch between BBIDS across the devices
