Don't jump the gun on N4BB.

They clearly stated that they pulled apps on all platforms for all of their sites due to advancements on their website.

Well they have recommended that you remove the app if installed.

I think it's a great idea moving back to a web only means of access. It will work across all platforms and have the same common look and feel. Smart move in my opinion. Sometimes apps are highly operated as far as news sites go anyhow. I was upset by the cbc decision, however I then realized html 5 is where all devices should be able access this content.

Yes but n4bb pulled all their apps on every platform because the mobile website is a better experience

Yeah for a better experience through the web browser.

What's the issue with that? If you want a quick link to their site save a bookmark to your home screen.

    I like this move. I'm a fan of well-coded website a browser-centered internet experience.

It's a better solution to the app gap issue, rather than begging developers to do native bb10 apps.

Because when I read the thread and replied first thing, I was still working on my first cup of coffee and to me I this thread appeared as a poster complaining about a developer removing their app from Blackberry without posting all of the facts.

The OP made no mention of the reason why, no mention of the fact that the Android and IOS apps were also pulled, and no mention of the enhanced web experience.

When I came into the thread I found it to be rather misleading then what it truly is.

I fully agree. I thought about making an app but with advances in HTML my website is great across all devices.
Even Google is on board with this, I don't recall seeing an app for their Google Docs suite?

    Nice!!!!

With "Shortcuts Creator" I can put a nice N4BB logo and make it look like an app icon on my screen.

YES! But truth be told, when ML said those words (5 years ago?) the bb browser was pretty awful (it used to close whenever I tried to load anything heavier than Google's home page!!!) and html5 was in its infancy.
