So this doesn't change anything for Blend, right?

You can now just have it open along side of Blend on your computer?

As far as the internet connection, do your phone and laptop need to he connected to the same network for it to work? Or can you leave the phone on a charger on to Wi-Fi and get messages from anywhere on your laptop?

Updated whatsapp yesterday but no option for scanning. Maybe it's a 10.3.1.1151 issue.

I had a similar issue where it wasn't showing up after updating the app. I simply restarted my phone and it worked.

Restarted with the update and yet it didn't show up (yet!)
Another interesting thing, I had the app installed from the betazone and yet BB World tells me that I don't have WhatsApp installed!

Trying the uninstall and fresh install now
Edit:
Did the WhatsApp messages backup
Uninstalled
Reinstalled from BetaZone
and it works now..

Had to restart phone after installation for swipe down to show the QR scanner

I can't even use Blend (Z10 on 10.2.1)

Whatsapp on the other hand, supports older non BB10 Blackberry devices.

I only lost the chats I had earlier today. Most of my conversations were still there. I recommend you make a manual backup of your chat history via the options menu before reinstalling.

nice move and I know for sure whatsapp is copying stuff from your mobile like numbers, account etc. but what is it doing on your computer?

I'm allready out of the game since 2 years for whatsapp. because of there copyrightson your stuff you send and use of your personal data You know they sell it to third parties
