I know there have been many threads about wiping the 9900. And installing the OS7. Can anyone provide a link for the latest and best way to uninstall and upload. The latest leak for the 9900.

I manually deleted BBM and now want it back so I can use it as a second device.

    Thank you

I'm not sure is this is quite what you're looking for, but check this out: http://forums.crackberry.com/hybrid-...8/#post7533751. RC22 is the latest. My 9900 ran the best on these hybrids - the least hour-glassing and the best battery life.

    Hope this helps.

After I wiped the phone I was disconnected and got a 507 error. Can not shut the phone down or reconnect.

It's been a while since I updated a 9900, but the 507 error indicates that the OS was wiped from the device, but the replacement OS didn't install for some reason.

KB11320-How to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Device Software using BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows

So, you'll need to reinstall using Desktop Manager (see link above) or download and run the OS installation from your PC. I'd suggest uninstalling any existing OS's installed on your PC (use the Windows "Uninstall a program), reboot, then install the new one. You can find the link to latest official OS from your carrier on this page:
BlackBerry - Desktop & Device Software Download Sites for BlackBerry users - US

Hope this gets you back in business.

PS, Sorry for the delay -- it's been a busy day and I had to look up the Legacy links on my PC.

All's good, tried to wipe and upload BerryLicio version of the OS with BBSAK but when it got to Up load OS there was no way to search for the OS in the download folder.
