Thank you so much, for your meticulous instructions.

Unfortunately, I am not able to download any of your apk Mega files.

If I open them from my BB Passport on 10.3.2.2836, it says "this file can not be opened from you mobile browser".

I tried saving to laptop desktop and side-loading the apk files in development mode - I then get "FAILURE 500 - PACKAGE ID"

I even set up my own Mega NZ account, saved the four files to it and then tried to open them from my MEGA APP on my phone - but the App just says "calculating encryption keys - connecting to the server" and then shuts down.

    Am I missing something?

    Please help

You don't sideboard android apps. Just copy them over to your device.

    Thanks!
Can you please be more specific?
I tried to copy and paste using Blackberry Link, but that doesn't work either? If yes, then where and how, as I can only seem to do it with .doc or .txt files?

I can't seem to be able to actually open the apk files from my phone, only on my laptop

Forget Link. Just use the windows file manager. Drag and drop.

Sincere apologies for lack of understanding. But I still don't get how to do it.
I have allowed USB connecting with my mobile - and it says that it is connected.
How do I bring up my BB Passport onto my laptop, so that I will be able to copy and paste?
I even have Ghost Commander installed on my phone - if this is any use, how can I use that to import from desktop computer?

Just use the Windows Explorer file manager. You will see your device listed there. If not, transfer via any cloud storage facility like Dropbox.

I am trying to install on a new Q10. I went to the Cobalt download page (mega) but can only find the Google ID file. Where can I download the other ones from?

I will post a picture of the files that I see. Hope that you can see it. Thanks

How do I get the Mega NZ site to work with the BB10 default browser, or do I need to installl another browser? Do you have any recommendations?

The response I get is "This file could not be opened in your mobile browser. Please install our mobile app..." which is only available for iOS.

    Thanks

    Good day•

I am new to using blackberry and I was reading on forums here then I found a thread about installing Google play on it. I don't know how to find the thread again and I followed the instructions there but I can't seem to make the playstore work. What must be the problem? I posted on screenshot. Thanks in advance.

    Cobalt's file share:

    [url]https://mega.nz/#F!lIUWjSSQ!yoLoiNX3PNG3Sef1Fa_fMA

    Install and login with 4.3.3.
    Install and register with 2.8.
    Install Play Services v10.
    Update 4.4.4 over 4.3.3 (but don't open).
    Install Play Store v6.
    Install whitelist 1.0.0.6.

If an app requires Google Play Services:
Download app with Cobalt's Play Store (but don't install).
    Whitelist unpatched app.
Patch app on PC with Play Services Patcher 1.6 using defaults settings.

    Install patched app.

If after all that, your app still won't work, then it's simply not compatible with BB10.

I'm running 10.3.2.2786, I read the article dedicated to this version, I followed the steps given to fix the issue but after sideloading the two files (*.bar) and restarting the phone (BlackBerry Classic) it won't install any apk file and it got stuck in processing message. Is there any solution?

Umm, your pics clearly show you are NOT running 10.3.2.2876.

If you sideloaded Android bar files over 10.3.1, you've borked your OS.

Sorry the photos weren't fully loaded. When opening the about section in settings I can see that I'm running 2876 and when checking the updates it says that I'm running another version..
    So I should proceed directly?

Use your bb10 browser and go to this link :

Reboot after install, and wait 15 minutes before using your phone.

You have to check it from your bb10 browser. It can't be in desktop mode either.

    Hello Conite
Well. I tried every possible kind of solution and get stuck with the same problem (the phone can't install apk and just displays "processing") so I decided to hard reset it using autoloader and just followed the 4 steps described in the top of the article. Every thing works good but, when I open Playstore and choose to install an app it asks me to accept, then nothing happens and the Playstore don't respond anymore.
    Any explanation for that?
Thanks again for all these precious efforts

Install Google Login 4,3 for the first login. Then, after you successfully logged in, you can install Google Login 4.4.4 and Play Services and the rest.
I just cannot update the apps from playstore. Could you please help me about it?
