Place your passport on it's back without a case

Press down on each corner one at a time starting at the top left side.

Does your unit remain relatively flat or is there a wobble?

    Here are my results:

    Top left: no
    Bottom left: no
    Bottom right: no
    Top right: yes

It seems it may be the cover for the camera?

I was very much thinking that is a rather silly thread.
maybe a bit too much egg nog?
    But, I'll bite.
    .....No wobble here.

    I've got a wobble.

I think it's the camera shroud in the back.

This is a rather silly thread. The sides of my unit are tapered in to the steel frame so it is not flat. I assumed everyone else's was the same...

You are absolutely right. Think I'll have another wobblipop to celebrate your astute observation....then maybe I'll have one to thank the original OP for starting a thread with the word wobbly in it....come to think of it, I'll have yet another one for being smart enough to open up the thread so I could read about wobbly Passports...that should be enough wobblipops for one night..considering I already was consuming wobblipops before I logged on to CrackBerry....but then again, I'm not driving tonight.

    See what you started OP?

Then I guess I have a bad unit.

    Drats.

There is no real screen lift that's super noticeable but the top right glass sits higher than the left.

Don't want to go thru the Digital River fiasco of returning for a refurbished unit that's worse...

If you want to test for corkscrew bend, you need to lay the naked unit on its face, not it's back.

I always like to sit on a concrete park bench with my Passport in my back jeans pocket before checking for such things.

I had a wobble on my 1st one so I took it back and exchanged it for one that doesn't wobble

Mine feels this way as well. But the right side keyboard frets are also more lifted than the left. It's weird but there is no lift.

And then against my keyboard is not physically flat either, I just wondering what is the point that we are discussing here about this thread?

This is just scratching the surface....hear about this one guy who's had like 48 defective units...IN A ROW!? Dejanh or whatever, surprised he hasn't made his presence felt yet.

Bottom left and right are flat. Top left and right are not because the camera housing protrudes from the back of the phone. With the snap case, everything is flat.

    Thanks, that's my situation too.

I'm just concerned of screen lift. I'm watching the top right corner closely as it is ever so slightly raised. Not a millimeter but slightly only.

    No light leaks.

I created a new thread, turned out my Passport was bent down the vertical axis at the center, so the top corners were facing left, and the bottom ones were facing right.

Very subtle, but it was there. I pretty much fixed it with my hands.

Flat as a pancake and works like a charm, all four of them from different build dates. Including the one I bought on launch day.

As long as we don't have a thread of people posting pictures of their units.

You might think so but I couldn't possibly comment.
