I presume you mean 10.3.1.1154, which is good. Heck, to see if you can bring it back from death, any Z30 OS will work.

I hope after installing OS 10.3.1.1154, your Z30 should work properly.

Does the red light blink twice, then stop, then blink twice again? If so, the device is blank or has been wiped with no OS installed. Install a new autoloader and that should work. If the computer recognized it but no screen then the display is possibly defective. That's what happened to mine.

It is quite possible the screen is shot. Does it receive calls?

Yes...when my display went bad it would receive calls, emails, and texts but all I could see was the notification light. I thought I had bricked it as well by auto loading .1154

Hope this info helps the OP

Call me silly, but try pluggin an HDMI cable into it and a TV and see what happens.

Also, make sure you're running the autoloader as an administrator. Usually it doesn't matter, but for the sake of science...

If it connects to Link, but the reload didn't help I would hook it up to HDMI. I have a Z30 with a beat screen and when hooked up to HDMI I could see everything and just wiped the device using the TV as a guide. Looking to purchase a new Z30 on sale. Can't choose a color. Wish you the best of luck though!

Check whether your tv has an HDMI port. If it does then you need to get an HDMI cable, and an HDMI connector for your Z30.

Once you get them all, you connect your Z30 to tv and you should see your Z30 screen on your tv. This is to check whether you have got a faulty display.

Yup it's really simple and saved me a bunch of times. All you need is a simple HDMI cable. It goes from your device to your TV. I would be surprised if your TV doesn't have an HDMI port. One of the older TVs at work has a couple. When you plug it in, if you do, just change the input to whatever HDMI port you plugged in (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.). It mirrors the screen onto the TV whether the screen is shot or not.

I use this feature all of the time. I will play documentaries from YouTube from my phone on the TV for groups and discussion, have used it at family get togethers using a quiz app as a game, my parents actually just watched a movie that's in theaters at home on some website with the Z10 hooked up to the TV. Saved them $30 lol. Just a lot you can do with a HDMI cord... and it's rather cheap to get one.

I'm sure HDMI out is likely a highly unused feature since apple hasn't had it so nobody has been pushing it, but I do believe it's finally on their 6. Don't know how they get away with selling old tech for massive prices with people lining up for it but that's another story lol.

Anyway, good luck again and I would def get the HDMI cable as once you begin using the feature you'll be glad to have the cord in the long run.

For running autoloader itself it is not necessary to have the HDMI connection, because you will connect the phone to the PC and you will see the progress status on your PC.

However it is recommended to have it because once the autoloader is completed successfully without any errors the phone will be rebooted and whatever displayed (or not displayed) on your phone screen will be mirrored on the tv.
